I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. Located in a quiet side valley, it provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the main town area. The hotel is surrounded by an amazing garden, adding to the beauty of the surroundings. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They even offered a complimentary shuttle bus service to the train station in the morning, making it convenient for me to explore the area. The room amenities were top-notch, with tea and coffee facilities, an in-room safe, and a dining table. The dining options were great, and the staff tried their best to provide excellent service. Free Wi-Fi and a car park were also available, adding to the convenience of my stay.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

During my recent stay at a beautiful ryokan in Nikko, I had the pleasure of experiencing the suite with a private bath at Okunoin Hotel Tokugawa. The room was incredibly spacious and exquisitely designed, with a comfortable bed and a reading space both inside and outside. The highlight was definitely the private onsen, which was not only beautiful but also a perfect size for relaxation. I also loved the fact that the sleeping area could be completely separated, creating a truly peaceful atmosphere. The hotel's garden was another standout feature, adding to the overall serenity of the place. I was delighted to find free coffee, tea, and delicious cakes in my room, adding a nice touch to my stay. I also appreciated the welcome drinks that were provided upon arrival in the lounge, setting the tone for a memorable experience at the hotel. my trip to Okunoin Hotel Tokugawa was wonderfully relaxing and left me feeling rejuvenated.

the location was perfect, with a beautiful Japanese garden that we could gaze at from our room. the room was spacious and comfortable with a private outdoor hot tub. the staff went out of their way to provide helpful tips for exploring the nearby World Heritage sites, which were only a short walk away. We also loved the exquisite kaiseki-style dinner and breakfast. the indoor and outdoor onsen facilities were great, and we appreciated the free transfer service to the station and the shrine area.
The hotel was quite far from the train station and downtown area, which made it difficult to get around without the shuttle service.

The hotel had very polite and helpful staff who spoke good English. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the garden. The hot baths were excellent and very relaxing, and the breakfast and dinner were deliciously presented. In terms of location, the hotel was very close to all the major attractions of this city.
Was all great.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was the best decision we made for our holiday trip. The onsen facilities were fantastic, with both private and public options available. The spacious feel of the public onsen was such a great experience. The location of the hotel was ideal, with its close proximity to the main attractions. We also enjoyed the in-room dining, which meant that we could enjoy our meals in the comfort of our own room. The highlight of our stay was definitely the balcony hot tub that offered a stunning view of the surrounding area.
There was really nothing that we disliked about our stay at this hotel. If we had to suggest anything, it would be to have more souvenir items available in their in-house shop.

Our romantic escape was all that we hoped for and more. the complimentary kimono made us feel like royalty. the location was perfect, secluded enough to feel private but close enough to explore the area. We enjoyed a breathtaking view of the lush greenery and had access to a private hot tub. the quiet ambiance of the hotel was an advantage we truly appreciated.
Although the food was not terrible, we were hoping for a little more variety in our meals. the shuttle service could have used an upgrade as it was a bit outdated.
